Information and work, in the right order.

Syntros builds custom tools and connects systems to solve specific engineering and operations problems. Understand first, then build.

Services

What Syntros does

  1. 01

    Custom tools

Software built for one specific problem: a calculation that lives in a fragile spreadsheet, a repetitive task that eats up hours, an analysis only one person knows how to redo. You get the tool working, documented and with its source code.

  2. 02

    Systems integration and metrics dashboards

Systems that don't talk to each other start sharing data: ERPs, spreadsheets, databases and APIs. The metrics you define show up on dashboards that update themselves. The rules and the metrics are yours; Syntros makes sure the numbers come through right.

  3. 03

    Support and ongoing development

A tool has to keep up with the operation. Syntros looks after what it delivers, fixing, adjusting and adding features as your needs change.

  4. 04

    Mechanical engineering

Complete mechanical product development, from concept to production: requirements, concept, analysis, simulation, detailing, prototyping and testing. It is also why Syntros' software is built with a hardware designer's eye.

Method

From analysis to execution

  1. Analysis

    01Understand

A conversation about the problem, the data at hand and what counts as a result.

  2. Analysis

    02Analyze

A technical survey of systems, data and constraints. It ends in a proposal with scope, timeline and price.

  3. Execution

    03Build

Development in short iterations, with versions you test along the way.

  4. Execution

    04Deliver

The tool in use and documented, with support after handover.

Projects

Prototype

Preliminary turbomachinery design

A tool for the early design phase of propulsion turbomachinery. It tests thousands of candidates across a parametric design space and shows the engineer only the ones worth taking further. For those, it already generates the starting files for the next round of analysis.

In progress

A custom intranet for a retail business

A reorganized data structure and a dedicated intranet with purpose-built tools. Day-to-day work follows a standard, and information lives in one place.

Experience

The experience behind it

Syntros is built on more than ten years of mechanical engineering in Brazil and Europe, in industries where mistakes are expensive.

  • 10+ years of product engineering, from concept to production
  • 7 years in Europe leading mechanical and propulsion engineering teams
  • R&D additive manufacturing and quality as daily practice on complex projects

Where that experience was built

  1. Aerospace

Led propulsion hardware engineering for orbital launch vehicles: turbomachinery design, R&D and production strategy, with additive manufacturing at the core.

  2. Robotics

Led the mechanical team developing new products, from structural design to mechanical validation.

  3. Offshore oil and gas

Analysis and development of subsea interconnection structures for exploration and production projects, plus technical proposals for export markets.

  4. Mining and stone

Design of mechanical equipment for the stone industry and performance analysis of heavy machinery in the field.

Software built by an engineer who needed it mid-project.

The name

Why Syntros

In physics, any system left to itself drifts toward disorder. Order only appears when information and work come in: Schrödinger's “negative entropy” and Prigogine's dissipative structures. That movement back toward order has a name: syntropy.

The symbol tells the same story. The loose columns are the analysis; the orange square, in the place logic set aside for it, is the execution.
